NYC is a Japanese male idol group produced by Johnny Kitagawa under Johnny & Associates. Their debut single, Yuuki 100%, was released in April 7, 2010 under Johnny’s Entertainment.

Trivia

• The origin name of NYC is taken from each member’s name, which are Nakayama (N), Yamada (Y) and Chinen (C). NYC can be New York City. Each member has image colors are blue, red and yellow.
• Before, this group had name NYC boys with 7 members. Since March 3, 2010, NYC boys became NYC.
• The four members of boys were B.I. Shadows.
• NYC boys formed in June 7, 2009 to became official supporter FIVB World Grand Prix 2009, that held June 31 until August 23, 2009.
• In Johnny’s official website, NYC includes Johnny’s Jr, although they had been released debut single.
